AMAKS City Hotel Krasnoyarsk

Guided tours for Krasnoyarsk guests

Krasnoyarsk combines traditional Russian hospitality and a modern lifestyle. The city is located on the banks of the Yenisei River, which divides it and the whole of Siberia into eastern and western parts. The diversity of the landscape makes an indelible impression on everyone who visits this amazing city. Historical monuments, architectural masterpieces and modern infrastructure harmoniously combine here.

We invite the guests of the city to get acquainted with the excursion programs that are suitable for nature lovers and fans of winter sports.

Torgashinsky ridge and stairs
The Torgashinsky Ridge is a picturesque ridge of rocks stretching for 15 kilometers on the southern outskirts of Krasnoyarsk. A hiking trail runs along the top of the ridge, which offers magnificent views of the city, the Yenisei River and the Krasnoyarsk Pillars. This is an ideal place for trekking, where you can walk all day, enjoying the unity with nature. In 2021, a staircase leading to the very top was built here. The staircase consists of 1,683 steps and has a length of 1,200 meters, which made it a record holder in the Russian Book of Records.

Krasnoyarsk pillars
Krasnoyarsk pillars is a world of amazing shapes and colors created by nature. Here you will see huge stone monoliths covered with forest, winding streams and fantastic views. Each of the pillars is a huge rock formation several hundred meters high. Locals and guests of the region come here to enjoy walks in the mountains under the shade of the coniferous forest, and lovers of extreme sensations come to conquer the pillars and see the breathtaking panoramas of the taiga.

One of the most unusual and memorable sights of the Krasnoyarsk pillars is an Unnamed rock, which the locals affectionately nicknamed “Shark". The rock got its nickname due to its unique shape, which really resembles a shark's mouth, especially when you look at it from a certain angle.

This place becomes especially interesting in winter. In the cold season, when nature wraps the surroundings in a blanket of snow, tourists and locals turn an Unnamed rock into a real marine predator. Using snowballs, they craft snow-white fangs, creating a dazzling Hollywood smile on the rock.

Ski resorts
Extreme sports bring energy and keep you toned. For those who want to try downhill skiing or snowboarding with a moderate degree of risk, we recommend visiting the Bobrovy Log fanpark on the outskirts of Krasnoyarsk. There are ski slopes, an ice rink, a toboggan run and other sports and wellness facilities. The ski slopes in Bobrovy Log have different levels of difficulty, are equipped with lifts and are well prepared.
